First movie here in US!

Casino Royale.

This is the first movie we watched since we came here 4 months ago. Partly because we have no car to drive to the movie theaters, partly because we are trying to save money (a ticket costs US$10.50).

Thanks to Barnes Court - the apartment we are staying at - they organised a free movie outing, complete with a US$5 subsidy per person for dinner at In-N-Out, a traditional California fast food outlet (the burgers taste better, simpler and not too greasy, and the fries are baked and unsalted and not deep fried).

So we had a free dinner and movie that night! Yay! Hopefully, this is not the last movie we are gonna watch here...=)

Btw, movie seating here is free seating (i.e. first come first served - you get to choose the seats you want to sit on, similar to Australia)
