HL's birthday was on 30th Sept, Saturday - it took a lot of persuading before he finally agreed to go to SF city for a little celebration...
That morning, we walked to the Caltrain station from our apartment. As it is Fall season, leaves are slowly turning red and brown - quite a pretty scene. It takes one hour by train from Palo Alto to SF city. The train has 2 decks - upper deck is single seats...
One of the unique features of SF City are its cable cars, where passengers can actually stand and hang out from the cable car as you can see in this pic. They also have buses that runs on electricity via the overhead cables...
